BLACK LIVES MATTER
What do you think about the George Floyd issue? I think it's crazy and simply heartless. It was like being forced to watch your least favourite movie. You will have all kinds of terrible feelings inside you. A mix of anger, upset and a huge disappointment. One thing that surprised and bothered me the most was that the polices are the 'main antagonist' in the story. POLICE should be the one responsible to uphold justice, combat crime and protect us. However, the officers turned out to be the very individuals to harm and put an end to an innocent life. After the incident, we could not help ourselves doubting that we can't count on them and the country is not in good hands. With the involvement of the abuse of power, worries are welcomed into our lives and we do not feel safe anymore. I do hope the authority will do their best to make those officers paid a heavy price for what they did. We should never let them get away with it and they do deserve the highest degree level of punishment of all. Even death sentence won't get to pay enough for what they did as you can never put a value on an innocent soul. It is priceless.
This should be a lesson to all of us. Racism is a crime. It won't bring anyone any good. The only thing it does is putting more lives and safety of others in jeopardy. We should be nice to all, we should treat all equally, with dignity and respect regardless of race, gender and religion. We should put the differences aside and see each other as another human being and not the fact that we are different; different belief, different religion and different skin colour. The differences are there for us to celebrate and it should be the everything that makes each and everyone of us unique and one of a kind. We should learn to live and work together in peace and harmony and not let the differences get in the way. At the end of the day, we are all human beings; we share the same basic needs, we eat the same food, we breath the same air and we have the same feelings. No one have control over what they are born into. You do not get to pick your family, your ethnicity and your skin colour at birth. It is not a crime to be born a coloured person thus this world should not be a prison to them where many rights are deprived of them and be treated badly like some animals. KEEP CALM AND KEEP FIGHTING AGAINST RACISM.
